3x = 8√x + 60  

3x -  8√x - 60 = 0

consider x = a²

so √x = a

3a² - 8a - 60 = 0

3a² - 18a +10a - 60 = 0

3a (a - 6) + 10 (a - 6) = 0

(3a + 10) (a - 6) = 0

a = 6

√x = a = 6

x = a² = (6)² = 36

total number of camels = x = 36 camels
