Let the total number of deers be x

Number of deers in the forest are one-fourth = \dfrac{1}{4}x

Number of deers in the field are one-third = \dfrac{1}{3}x

Number of deers drinling water = 15

According to the question,

\dfrac{1}{4}x + \dfrac{1}{3}x \: + \: 15\:=\:x

Multiply both the sides by 12

➾ 3x + 4x + 180 = 12x

➾ 7x + 180 = 12x

➾ 7x - 12x = -180

➾ -5x = -180

➾ x = 36

∴ Total number of deers are \underline{\underline{\bold {36}}}

Dear ,

Your Answer is ; 36 Deers.

✧══════•❁❀❁•══════✧
• Step by Step Explanation ;-
✧══════•❁❀❁•══════✧

Assuming the Total number of deers as y.

 \frac{1}{4}y \: deers \: are \: in \: forest.

 \frac{1}{3} y \: deers \: are \: on \: the \: field \:.

tolal \: number \: of \: deers \: drinling \: in \: water \: = 15

Now ,
ATQ ;-

 \frac{1}{4} y + \frac{1}{3} y + 15 = y

Multiplying RHS and LHS with 12.

 = > 3y + 4y + 180 = 12y
 = > 7y + 180 = 12y
 = > 7y - 12y = - 180
 = > - 5y = - 180
 = > y = \frac{ - 180}{ - 5} = 36

Therefore,
36 is the Total number of deers.
