In this case, light rays incident on lens will be refracted from the upper part of lens. These rays will meet at other side of the lens to form a image.

Nature of image :

Object is placed at 2F. we get image at 2F

of same size real and inverted.

2] Refer attachment for ray diagram In Both cases Complete image will be formed but intensity of the image will be reduced as the light falling on the lower portion will not reach the position of image.
