one half of the student in a school are girl,3/5of these girl are studying in lower class.And total student in school is 9800. what are the number of girl are studying in upper class.

Since total students = 9800
But 1/2 of the total students are girls i.e = 9800/2
= 4900
Also 3/5 of girls are studying in lower class i.e = 4900×(3/5)
= 2940
but total girls are 4900 .
so 4900-2940 = 1960 girls are studying in Upper class.
