Let the 1st number be x.

\underline{\bold{Given :}}

that the another number is greater by 4 then the first one number ,

So,

the another number = x + 4

\underline{\bold{we\:know\:that ,}}

The smaller number is 16....

\underline{\bold{According\:to\:the\:question,}}

\therefore{\bold{x= 16}}

Here , we know the value of x then we can find the another number.

Then , the another number = x + 4 = 16 + 4 = 20.

\boxed{\boxed{\bold{1st\:number = 16.}}}

\boxed{\boxed{\bold{2nd\:number = 20.}}}

Solution :

Given -

An integer is greater than the other by 4 if smaller number is 16.

To find the other or second number :-

Let the integer be X.

Smaller Number = 16

Hence , X = 16 ..............(i)

=> X + 4 = 16 + 4 = 20 ..........(ii)

Therefore ,

First Number = 16

Second or Other Number = 20
