both take same time but due to air resistance it doesn't happen

both will hit the ground simultaneously ignoring air resistance.when a body is in free fall the only force acting on it is the gravitational force which is equal to its weight.
according to newton's second law of motion
F=ma where F is the gravitational force acting on the body which is simply equal to its weight W=mg
now F=ma
since F=mg
therefore mg=ma
cancelling m on both sides
a=g
it indicates that bodies will touch the ground simultaneously since both r moving with same acceleration(ignore air friction)
