Answer:

Option d = 3:4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : One kilogram of laddoo mix packet costs Rs. 150/- usually and can be used to make 100  laddoos. A festive offer is launched with 20% extra material in each packet and at 10% price  discount. Last month, Ram bought enough packets to make 6000 laddoos when no offer was  available. This month, during the festive offer, shyam bought enough packets to make 6000  laddoos.

To find : The ratio of amount spent by shyam to the amount spent by Ram is?

Solution :

Usually 100 laddoos make.

Ram and Shyam bought packets to make 6000 laddoos.

No of packets bought during no offer \frac{6000}{100}=60 packs.

Cost during no offer 150\times 60=9000

New Amount of laddoo material during offer,

= 150 - (10\%\times 150)

= 150 - 15

= 135

Ladoos that can be made in the offer pack,

= 100+(20\%\times 100)

= 100+20

= 120

Cost of laddoo during offer,

C=135\times 120

C=Rs.6750

The ratio of amount spent by Shyam to the amount spent by Ram is

\frac{6750}{9000}=\frac{3}{4}

Therefore, The ratio is 3:4.

So, Option d is correct.
