Let x be the leg
Then area of triangle=x²/2
Now the area=(x+4)(x+6)/2
As per question (x+4)(x+6)/2-x²/2=24
                       ⇒ x²+10x+24-x²=48
                       ⇒ 10x=24
                       ⇒ x=2.4
Original length of leg is 2.4 cm
