One length of ribbon is 25cm and another is 1.3m. What is their total length in meters?

Answer:

There are 100 cm in 1 m.

So with that, if you put 1.3 m in cm you get 130 cm of ribbon.

Then divide 130 by 1.3 to see how many times you can take out 1.3cm from the amount you have.

130/1.3 = 100

So you can get 100 pices of ribbon each 1.3 cm from 1.3 m of ribbon
