Assuming 50% reaction, half of given i.e. 0.5 L CO2 is available for reaction.
Heating of CO2 with coke produces CO. The reaction is as follows -
CO2 + C --> 2 CO
From this,
1 mol CO2 => 2 mol CO
22.4 L CO2 => 2 × 22.4 L CO
1 L CO2 => 2 L CO
0.5 L CO2 => 1 L CO
Therefore, 1 L CO is contained at the end of this reaction.
