The daughter is right in one point of view. You must never take medicines without a doctor's prescription as there may be many ill effects. Only an experienced medical practitioner will know the correct medicines to prescribe.

On the other hand ,for small diseases like fever,cold etc there is no need to go to the doctor if you have a bit of knowledge regarding medicines.

I will support to daughter because taking antibiotics with out doctor prescription is wrong because it kills the good bacteria in stomach it weakens our body it effects WBC which fights against infection
