Milkman has 10 litres of milk.
For measuring milk he has 3lit, 7lit, 10lit milk measuring cans.
A customer comes for 5lit milk.
How milkman will give 5 litres with 3 lits and 7 litres measuring cans.

Answer is:

He will give 3 litres of milk 3 Times to person in a vessel.
3x3=9.
He takes 7 litres of milk into 7 litres can and 2 litres remains in the vessel.
Then he gives 3 litres
So TOTAL 5 litres milk the shopkeeper gives to customer.

Answer:

the milkman will take 3 times the litre i.e. 3 * 3 = 9 take out from. 10 litre of milk

then take out 7litre of milk through the 7 litre measurement that will be 9-7=2

add this 2 litre of milk in 3 litre of milk

this will be

2 + 3 = 5

hence he can give 5 litre to the customer
