Faith is the ability to keep unlimited patience in something, even if all the cards are against you.
A deeply religious person, starts his day with the newspaper saying someone has proved that God doesn \'t exists. He meets a old friend who gives a very intellectual lecture on how stu_pid we are to believe that god exists, he is criticized by his friends who are atheists, he is let down by everyone. Even then at the end of the day, he never loses his faith. Why?
When the newspaper said someone proved that God doesn \'t exists, the religious person says \'All proved theory are not true. Even the geocentric theory was accepted everywhere. What happened next? a better theory came and the first one was gone. I hope the same thing happens here \'. When his friend gives him a lecture, he says \'As I know, every effect must have a cause. then tell me what is the single cause of this universe? This is what I call God. \' When his friends criticize him he wishes for the truth to come out soon not matter even if its against him. He keeps marching no matter what.
As opposed blind faith is dangerous. Very dangerous. That is the inability of a person to accept anything that is against his conception, no matter how real the results maybe.
