In India, we say' Mother is God, Father is God" . This is because like the world and the people are the creation of God .
While Parents are not Gods in traditional sense - it is clear that when a child is growing up that their parents are if not Gods at least , godlike - they are , at least from our perspective, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. This breaks down once the child reaches the teen years (if not sooner).

This world is a creation of god and in the same way we all are the creations of our parents. As it is not possible for god to be with us always so he made parents. God is always beside us to help us fight the difficulties of life in the form of our parents. Parents are the ones who teach us to walk and talk. Parents take care of us from the time we are born. Parents help us fulfill all our dreams.
