Sports and games are a vital part of human physiology. They strengthen us, entertain us, fulfil our competitive nature as well as aiding our physical and mental health.

I would go as far as suggesting that without sport and competitive games there would be far fewer humans left in the world, the reason for this is that we would never be able to fulfil our need for competition without war, and endless conflict around the world.

I know this sounds apocryphal but look at our history. In ancient times most sport involved fights to the death in arena’s all over the Roman empire and similar spectacles around the world.

So sport and games are very important.
