A pithy question that is often asked is what is the greatest of human inventions? From the invention of the wheel thousands of years ago to now, can one of the many, many human inventions be said to be even greater than the others? 
I think and some others agree that there is an invention that is even greater than all the others. As much as we respect and depend on life saving inventions like antibiotics and vaccines, as much as inventions like the printing press, telephone and radio have done for humankind there is an invention that ultimately saves more lives and communicates farther, wider, and better -and far more instantaneously than any other and that is the Internet. 
The formula for antibiotics and vaccines can be sent over the Internet in a nanosecond. The a Internet stores more information than any single book and sends it as well and in a nano second. It is a better more wide ranging communication than telegraph, telephone and radio combined. The internet Is all those things combined. 
We owe a great debt - we owe the greatest debt to ---------?------- 
the inventor of the Internet.
