one mole of a diatomic ideal gas (gamma = 1.4 is taken throughout a process)
a-b is an adiabatic compression,
b-c is isochoric expansion,
c-d is and adiabatic expansion and
d-a is isochoric. The volume ratio Va/Vb=16 and Vc/Vb=2 and temperature at a is Ta= 300 K. Calculate the temperature of the gas at points b and d

One mole of an ideal monoatomic gas is taken alomg the cycle ABCDA wgere AB is isochoric , BC is isobaric , CD is adiabatic and DA is isothermal . Find the efficiency of the cycle . It is given that Tc/Ta = 4 and Va/Vd = 1/16 .
Answer is 0.573 .
