One mole of an ideal gas expands from its initial volume of V, = V to its final volume of V, = 10 V at a constant temperature of T- 300 K. IS= 8,3 J molk, calculate the amount of heat absorbed by the gas.​

Q= U + W

Temp is constant so, U = 0

Q = W

W = -2.303nRT log (V2/V1)

Given, n=1 mole, T = 300K, V2= 10V, V1=V

W= -2.303*8.3*300*log(10)

W= 5734.47 J
