One molecule of oxygen is made up of how many atoms? *

Explanation:
How many atoms are present in one molecule of oxygen?
Everyone here is responding with the assumption that you mean the O2 oxygen that is present in the air we breathe.
If that is what you’re after, then yes they’re right: It’s O2, which is two atoms of elemental oxygen.
However, oxygen also naturally exists in significant quantities as Ozone, which is O3, or Trioxygen.
Oxozone is Tetraoxygen, or O4.
The question, as it stands, makes a fundamental[ly wrong] assumption that there is only one form of molecular oxygen. Oxygen can be a liquid too. It can be a solid. It’s also possible that it could be a superfluid, but I don’t know that this has actually been done; oxygen plasma is yet another.
All of these have different physical make-ups and so different molecular structures.
So, for the purposes of education, beware next time you ask a question like this. Make sure that you know what you’re asking for (if possible, if not that’s okay) and perhaps do a little self-study on the definition of molecule? :-)
