Let the volume of hydrogen be h
And the volume of oxygen be x therefore y=2x since 1 volume of hydrogen=2 volumes of oxygen.
When x=2, y=2/2=1
When x=4, y=4/2=2
When x=-2, y=-2/2=-1 and so on
