Hello user

For infinte solutions we have

3/2a = 3/a+b = 7/28

a = 6

and b = 6

For infinite many solutions,

a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

Here a = alpha, and B = Beta

Here equations are

3x + 3y - 7 = 0

2ax + (a+ B) y - 28 = 0

a1/a2 = 3 /2a

b1/b2 = 3/ ( a + B )

c1 /c2 = 7/28 = 1 / 4

a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

3/2a = 3/ ( a + B ) = 1 /4

Cross multiplying,

3/2a = 1/4

3× 4 = 2a

12 = 2a

a = 12/2 = 6

Putting value of a and cross multiplying ,

3 / ( a + B ) = 1/4

3 / ( 6 + B ) = 1/4

3× 4 = 6 + B

12 = 6 + B

B = 12 - 6

B = 6

So, alpha, a = 6 and Beta, B = 6.
