Hi friend,
Let the number be x.
The polynomial we get is
(1 + 2×x) + (5 + x)
= 1 + 2x + 5 + x
= 6 + 3x
Hence the answer is 3x + 6.
If it was an equation which is equal to zero,
the answer would be different.
Here's how:
6 + 3x = 0
3x = -6
x = -2.
Hope you find my answer useful and hope you mark my answer as brainliest !
