Let, the larger number be x and smaller number be y then

According to the question :

x = 12y .... (1)

4x-3y = 360 .... (2)

=> 4(12y)-3y = 360

=> 48y-3y = 360

=> 45y = 360

=> y = 8

So, x = 12×8 = 96

Thus, the larger number = 96 and smaller number = 8

Answer: larger nom is 96 and smaller is 8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let larger nom be x and smaller no. be y

X=12y ...... |.

4x-3y=360......||

Multiply eqn ll by 4

4x-48y=0..... |||

Subtract eqn l by ll

We'll get,

X=96

Substitute value of x in eqn l

We'll get,

Y=8.

That's it.
