Answer:

X=6,3x-4=14

Step-by-step explanation:

Let one number be x

The other will become 3 times of the before I.e 3x

and 4 subtracted from it..so 3x-4

Adding both u get

x+3x-4

And its is increased by 5..so

x+3x-4+5=25

Solution :

One Number as x

Second Number as (3x - 4)

\tt{==> \: x + (3x - 4) + 5 = 25}

\tt{==>\: x +3x - 4 + 5 = 25}

\tt{==>\: 4x  +  1 = 25}

\tt{==> \: 4x = 25 - 1}

\tt{==> \: 4x = 24}

\tt{==> \: x =  \dfrac{24}{4} }

\tt{==> \: x = 6}

(3x - 4) = 18 - 4 = 14

Second Number = 14

.°. The numbers are 6 and 24.
