Answer:

x = 9 and y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

let the bigger no. be x and smaller be y

A.Q.T.

X= 7+Y

SQUARING BOTH THE SIDES

X^2 = (7+Y)^2

X^2= 49 + Y^2+14Y-------------------------(i)

A.T.Q

X^2 =Y^2 + 77----------------------------(ii)

FROM (i) and (ii)

y^2 + 77 = 49 + y^2+14y

14 y= 77 - 49

y= 28/14

y=2

x = 7+y

x= 9

done :)
