let one no. = x and other no. = y. x = y + 7 y^2 = x^2 + 77. put value of x in this equation from which u will get y and after find x via x = y + 7

according to 2nd given condition
(x)square-(y)square=77
(x)square=77+(y)square.....(1)
accordingto 1st given condition
x+y=7
x=7-y
squaring on both sides....
(x)square=49-(y)square.....(2)
so.....
put eq(1) in eq (2)...
77+(y)square=49-(y)square
77-49=2×(y)square
28=2×(y)square
(y)square=14
so may be y=root 14
