One number is 7 more than another. Their sum is 13. What is the number?

 \to Another number = 3

 \to One number = 10

Let ,

The another number = x

So , one number = x + 7

According to the question ,

 \to x + x + 7 = 13

 \to 2x = 13 - 7

 \to 2x = 6

 \to x = 3

 \therefore The another number is 3 and one number is 10
