One number is four less than three another. If their sum is increased by five ,the result is twenty five . Find it

First number = x

Second number = 3x-4

Increased by 5:

(x)+(3x-4)+5=25

4x+1=25

4x=24

x=6 (first number)

3(6)-4= 18-4=14 (second number)

hence the numbers are 14 and 6
