Hi Bro....

Given :-
It is given that a number is 3/4 of second number.    .......(1)
Also, the sum of the two numbers is 70.                    .......(2)

First Step :-
Let the number be z.   (or any variable x, y, a, b or ......)

Second Step :-
Look at ....(1). The second number = 3/4 of first number.

Third Step :-
So, the second number will be  \frac{3}{4} X x = \frac{3}{4} x

Result (1) :-
Now, the two numbers are x and 3x/4.

Fourth Step :-

Now look at .....(2).  The sum of two numbers is 70.

Fifth Step :-
From Result (1) and Fourth Step, we formulate the below equation....

x + \frac{3}{4} x = 70 \\ -\ \textgreater \ x + \frac{3x}{4} = 70

Sixth Step :-
Taking LCM.
-\ \textgreater \   \frac{4x}{4} +  \frac{3x}{4}
-\ \textgreater \ \frac{7x}{4} = 70 \\ x = \frac{70 X 4}{7} \\ x = 40

Result (2) :-
Hence, the number is 40.

Hope it helps.....
