And also,

y=(3x)[Given]—−—−—−—−>2

From equations 1 and 2,

⟹(20−x)=3x

⟹20=3x+x

⟹20=4x

⟹x=204

⟹x=(5)

And hence y=3x

Thus,⟹y=(15)

Therefore,the two numbers are 5 and 15
