one of diagnol of rhombus is 60 m and perimeter is 140m find area and length of other diagnol

Perimeter = 140

4×side = 140

Side = 140/4

Side = 35

Now,

By Pythagoras theorem,

(60/2)² + (half of other diagonal)² = 35²

Half of other diagonal = √{35²-30²} = 1225-900

Half of other diagonal =√325 = 18 m [approximate]


Answr,)- Length of other diagonal = 2×18=36 m

Area of rhombus =product of diagonals ×1/2

Area of rhombus = (36×60)/2 =36×30=1080 m²
