Concept

When two rays come together at a vertex, they create an angle. This angle is referred to as acute when it is less than 90°. Angles between 0° and 90° are referred to as acute angles and are characterized as being smaller than 90°. 60°, 30°, 45°, and other temperatures are a few instances. The term "acute triangle" refers to a triangle with all interior angles smaller than 90 degrees. Due to the internal angles of an equilateral triangle measuring 60°, it is an acute triangle.

Given

one angle in right angle triangle is 22.5°

Find

we need to determine the other acute angle of a right angle triangle.

Solution

Given, ∠A = 22.5°

∠B = 90° [since in a right angle triangle one angle measures 90°]

but    ∠C =?

to determine the third angle, sum up all the angles in a triangle to 180°

⇒ ∠A ₊ ∠B ₊ ∠C = 180°

22.5° ₊ 90° ₊ ∠C = 180°

112.5° ₊ ∠C = 180°

∠C = 180° ₋ 112.5°

∠C = 67.5°

hence the other acute angle in the right angle triangle is 67.5°
