SOLUTION

GIVEN

One of the acute angles of a right angled triangle is 40.5°

TO DETERMINE

The other acute angle.

CONCEPT TO BE IMPLEMENTED

Sum of the three angles in a triangle is 180°

EVALUATION

Here it is given that One of the acute angles of a right angled triangle is 40.5°

Now in a right angled triangle one angle = 90°

We know that Sum of the three angles in a triangle is 180°

So the other acute angle

= 180° - ( 90° + 40.5° )

= 180° - 130.5°

= 49.5°
