ANSWER

let the measure of two linear pair angles be x and y

We know that, the sum of angles in a linear pair is 180

o

.

x+y=180

o

Given that, one of the angles is an obtuse angle.

obtuse angle+y=180

o

y=180

o

−obtuse angle

y= acute angle

∴ other angle in a linear pair where one angle obtuse is an acute angle.
