In an isosceles triangle, two sides are equal,
Therefore, angles opposite to equal sides are equal.

Therefore the two base angles are
54 degree each

Let the vertical angle be x,
Using angle sum property of a triangle,

x + 54 + 54 = 180
x + 108 = 180
x = 180-108 = 72

Therefore,
The vertical angle is 72 degree.
