The sum of diagonals is 61.23 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rhombus = \frac{pq}{2}

Where p and q are the diagonals

Let the one diagonal of given rhombus be x

We are given that One of the diagonal of the rhombus is double the other diagonal

So, Another diagonal = 2x

So, Area of rhombus = \frac{x \times 2x}{2}=\frac{3x^2}{2}

Area of rhombus = 25 sq,cm,

So, \frac{3x^2}{2}=25\\x^2=\frac{25 \times 50}{3}\\x=20.41

Another diagonal = 2x = 2(20.41)=40.82  cm

Sum of diagonals = 20.41 cm + 40 .82 cm = 61.23 cm

Hence The sum of diagonals is 61.23 cm
