Step-by-step explanation:

Let one digit be x.

So, the other digit is 4x

The number formed will be 10×x + 4x.

=10x+4x

=14x.

After interchanging the digits,

10×4x + x

40x + x

=41x.

After difference of both numbers,

41x - 14x =54

27x = 54

X = 2

So, the number formed is 10×2 +4×2 = 20+8=28.

Or it can also be 82.
