now, perimeter = a+b+c

or, 48 = 18 + 18 + c

or, c = 12

area of isosceles triangle = b/4( √4 a^2 - b^2)

= 12/4 (√4 * 18^2 - 12^2)

= 3(√1296-144)

= 3(√1152)

=3*33.94

= 101.82cm^2
