let the ratio factor be x.
exterior angle = sum of opposite interior angles.
125= 1x + 4x
125 = 5x
x = 125 ÷5
x= 25.
therefore,
first opposite interior angle= 1x= 25
second opposite interior angle= 4x = 25x4= 100.

Hope it helps!

AnswEr :-

  • The opposite interior angles of the triangle are 25° and 100°.

Given :-

  • One of the exterior angle of a triangle is 125° and interior opposite angles are in the ratio 1:4.

To Find :-

  • Angles of the triangle.

SoluTion :-

Here,

interior opposite angles are in the ratio 1:4.

Put x in the ratio.

Then,

angles are

  • x
  • 4x

As we know that the sum of two opposite interior angles of a triangle is equal to the exterior angle.

According to question :-

x + 4x = 125

→ 5x = 125

→ x = 125/5

→ x = 25

Put the value of x in the ratio

Now,

  • x => 25°
  • 4x => 4 × 25 => 100°

Hence, the interior opposite angles are 25° and 100°.
