Answer:

Surface area of a cube =6a^2

but,given that exclude the top and bottom,in that case ,area of 4 walls =4a^2

since, a=47m,

therefore area of 4 walls,=

4×a×a

4×47×47=8836m^2 ANS

Answer:

the following questions regarding the case study box of gol gambaz bijapur

and the given data is that the gol gambaz  is a cubical portion of side 47m

Step-by-step explanation:

1Q) find the surface area of the cubical portion incuding the top and the bottom and the side is 47m ?

A. given,

   side=47m

    so we need to find the surface area of the cubical portion means

we need to find the C.S.A of the cube = 4a^2

                                                           =4(47)^2

                                                           =4(2209) = 8836m^2

2Q) find the volume of the cubical portion ?

A. given,

 side=47m

 so, we need to find the volume of the cubical portion

so the volume of the cube is = a^3

                                             = (47)^3

                                              = 103823 cu.m
