One of the major use of H,O, is for artificial respiration. It is stored in cylinder
of 3 litre capacity completely filled with H,0, solution of'44.8 V'. In a hospital
of Pune, patient under artificial respiration takes 200 ml O, per min at 1 atm at
273 K for 2.8 hours from cylinder.
[Assume volume of solution and rate of decomposition remain constant.]
Then which of the following statement(s) is/are correct.
(A) Initial moes of H,O, in a cylinder are 12
(B) Volume of oxygen used for respiration is 33.6 L
(C) Volume strength of H20, left in solution is 11.2 V
(D) Volume strength of 1,0, left in solution is 33.6 V

(B) Intial moes of H₂O₂ in cylinder are 12

Artificial respiration is when breathing induced by some manipulative technique when natural respiration has ceased or is faltering.

Oxygen gas is mainly filled in cylinders used in hospitals for artificial respiration

In artificial respiration a mixture of OX2 with COX2 or helium is used. Helium is used as it is less soluble in blood.

"Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H₂O₂. In its pure form, it is a very pale blue liquid, slightly more viscous than water. It is used as an oxidizer."

In the above case as the pateint takes 200 ml O2,per min at 1 atm at 273 K for 2.8 hours from cylinder.

And as the volume of solution and rate of decomposition remain constant

Intial moes of H₂O₂in cylinder are 12 would be a correct statement.
