let ABCD be the trapezium such that AB is parallel to CD.

AB=CD-8

area of trapezium ABCD=(1/2)×(AB+CD)×h

200cm²=(1/2)×(2CD-8)×10

5×(2CD-8)=200

2CD-8=40

2CD=48

CD=24cm

AB=24-8

AB=16cm
