Area of trapezim=(1/2)h[sum of parallel sides]

h=height or breadth

let one parallel side be 'x'

other parallel side is 'x+2'

given,h=1.5

area of trapezium is 6

hence,

6=(1/2)(1.5)[x+x+2]

6=(1/2)(1.5)[2x+2]

x=3

hence sum of parallel sides is

x+(x+2)=3+(3+2)=8
