Substituting we get,

100^{2} = 50^{2} + B^{2} + 50 B cos(0)

10000= 2500+ B^{2}+ 50 B

B^{2} + 50B- 7500= 0

By solving the equation, we get

B= 65 or B= -115

Therefore the other component can be 65 units in the same direction or 115 units in the opposite direction
