Answer:

Given, one root of the equation = - 7 / 5

Equation , 5m^2 + 2m + k = 0

so

5 {m}^{2}  + 2m + k  = 0 \\  \\  =  > 5( \frac{ - 7}{5} ) + 2( \frac{ - 7}{5} ) + k = 0 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 35}{5}  +  (\frac{ - 14}{5} ) + k = 0 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 35}{5}  -  \frac{14}{5}  + k  = 0 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 35 - 14 + 5k}{5}  = 0 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{ - 49 + 5k}{5}   = 0\\  \\  =  >  - 49 + 5k = 0 \\  \\  =  > 5k = 49 \\  \\  =  > k =  \frac{49}{5}

hope it helps uH
