one of the roots of quadratic equation 2x²+kx-2=0 is -2,find k.(ans: k=3).

It's easy just put the value of x= -2 in the equation

It becomes
2(-2)(-2) + k(-2) -2=0
8-2k -2=0
6-2k =0
2k =6
Or k=3

Which is the required answer
