by diagonal there are two triangles so. let take one triangle

hence diagonal = hypotenuse =13meter and one side means perpendicular =12 meter so by using Pythagoras theorem we can find base of the triangle let's start

13^2=12^2+base^2

169=144+base^2

169-144=base^2

25=base^2

base =5 m

hence base =second side of rectangle

so area of rectangle is length*breadth

so 5*12=60 meter^2

Ans is 60 meter^2
