One of the two digits of a two digit number is 4 times the other digit .If you
interchange the digits of this two digit number and add the resulting number
the original number, you get 110. What is the original number?

Let,

ones digit number be x

Then,Tens digit number be 4x

  1. that no. 10(4x)+1(x)

40x+x

= 41x

2. when interchange digit :

That no. 14x

According to question

41x+14x. = 110

55x. = 110

x. = 110/55

x. = 2

Hence,

Tens digit. = 4x =4*2=8

ones digit = x = 2

That no. = 82

original no. = 82 or 28
