Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be 10x + y

=x+y = 9 _ (1)

(10y+x) - (10x + y) = 27

= 9y-9x = 27

y-x = 3 _(2)

(1)+(2) =

2y=12=y=6

=x=3

= origianl Number = 36

MAGNESIUM (Mg) IS 10 AND THE ATOMIC NUMBER OF CHLORINE (Cl) is 17. Therefore,the when following the octete rule in chemistry wher e the valence shell should have 8 eletrons . So,the electrons have been removed from the mg and transfered to chlorine . hence , it becomes MgCl2.6
