One of the two digits of a two digit number is three times the other digit .If you interchange the digits and addthe resulting number to original number ,you get 88 .What is the original number

Let the number be 2

The other number is trice the first number = 2*3 = 6

So the two digit number is 26

Now interchanging the two digit number = 62

Now adding resulting two digit number to 62
62+26= 88

So we get 88


So, hence the original number is 26
